When my mum asked last week what’s the plan for reunion dinner this Chinese New Year, my mind went blank. By now, most restaurants would have been fully booked and cooking up a storm is not my forte. To beat the Chinese New Year queues at restaurants and to minimise the after-cooking cleaning in your kitchen, an alternative is to get the reunion feast delivered to your doorstep!
Search Chinese New Year Buffet Catering 2018 will land you a huge varieties to choose from. For all my catering hunt, I like to research for new options on Foodline.sg, this site has been one of my go-to buffet and catering directory – think Foodline to the likes of Hungrygowhere, but instead of where to eat, they show you all caterers you can find in Singapore, what they have to offer and most importantly, users’ reviews and photos of these caterers. They also provide a “Best Price Guarantee” policy which you can read more about here.
For fuss free Chinese New Year meals for your family reunion or gatherings over the 15 days of festive hosting, here are some of my personal recommendations from Foodline.sg. I’ve tried most of them myself or have tasted their spread at other gatherings and events. So yup! Tried and tested, so quality is there lah.
BellyGood by TungLok (Halal Caterer)
This is my go-to caterer for most of my family gatherings because we love the options they provide and the very well packed and delivered takeaway mini buffets that is ideal for small group gatherings of 6 to 12 paxs.
This Chinese New Year, BellyGood has got menus that comes with 5 dishes to extensive buffet spread of up to 13 dishes. Check BellyGood catering menus here.
Eatzi Gourmet Catering
This I’ve tried their food several times at events but never got to chance to order because budget usually don’t allow for such indulgence. They’ve got three different menus for Chinese New Year and all comes with Yu Sheng. Worth considering for sure if you’re willing to splurge once a year!
Grain do not have a specific Chinese New Year menu, but I will go with them if you’re into watching what goes into your food. I’ve ordered from Grain several times for packed lunches for my company and everyone love their food! Definitely worth considering for those who wants a healthier option. Check out their available menu for catering here.
Hope this is useful for those still don’t know where to go or what to cook for your reunion dinner!
