It’s our 3rd weekend out since I started working, and we were at Marina Barrage on Saturday evening. The plan was to buy some food and a kite before we head to the Barrage. Sadly, we only managed to gather food to fill our tummies and no kite was in sight at the shopping mall. Nevertheless, it was a relaxing and nice evening spent with my family.
Ayra slept through the car ride and even when we took turn to go get stuff from the shopping mall. That was great cause she was fresh and all powered up when we reached the destination. When she saw the many colorful kites in the sky, she couldn’t stop tilting her head up to see them.
We had Kenny Rogers side dishes and muffins for dinner. Ayra refused to take anything but the corn nibbles (a few tiny pieces) and her favorite snack biscuit. At 18 months, she is still not taking any proper solid meals and only nibble bits and pieces on some days. This is worrying us.
We love how breezy and nice the evening was. Before we reached, the scorching sun along ECP almost made us change our mind of the picnic at Marina Barrage. Good thing I insisted that the weather will be great when we reach.
Beside kite viewing, Ayra got to run around the open field, play with Ayah’s fold-able stool… climbing on and off it… closing and swinging it around and she also got to play some frisbee. More so running away from it and chasing it when it landed on the grass.
I love such simple and relaxing day out with my family. Can’t wait for the weekend to come again soon for more quality family time with Ayra.
